Energy Savings Certification Schemes
As the European Union looks to strengthen the role of market-based instruments in delivering energy efficiency, this workshop will provide a platform for discussing practical options and implementation strategies. The workshop will feature two parallel breakout sessions:
- Funding mechanisms – comparing white certificates with other market-based approaches
- Monitoring & Verification (M&V) and administrative settings – examining methodologies, data requirements, and scheme design
Bringing together policymakers, national authorities, and technical experts, the session will explore how to align certification systems with the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) while ensuring effective delivery and verification of savings.
streamSAVE+ will contribute its technical perspective on methodologies and savings calculations, complementing the policy expertise of ENSMOV Plus.
